A little about me.
I’m Gina B. Serra, an illustrator from Barcelona. I grew up devouring and creating stories in all their audiovisual formats, first at school and, later during college, where I majored in Media.
There I specialized in film and television scriptwriting. However, fate, and the financial crisis, led me to work in Digital Marketing for almost 10 years.
During this time I couldn’t get art out of my head, so I took classes again at the Escola Joso - Centre de Còmic i Arts Visuals, where I took both the Comic and Illustration courses, specializing in Teen and Young Adult Illustration.
So here I am! In 2021 I left Marketing behind and decided to embark on the adventure of illustration.
Nowadays I work as a freelance illustrator and have had the opportunity to design several covers for self-published authors’ books and also for Spanish publishers, in addition to custom commissions of various kinds.
